Returning to home shores, I am surprised and impressed by the growth in local content on our television stations. I hope I am am witnessing progress and not being fooled by re-runs. We’ll say what my agent has to say about the industry tomorrow, when i touch base with her.

Deep into rehearsals for Mr Cleggs Creative Industry, play festival. The first of it’s kind ever to hit Newcastle shores! 11 plays, 15 actors, 12 days. Crazy, but very very exciting. I will be acting in 3 plays: Zoo Story by Edward Albee, The Other Woman by Belinda Bradley and The Girl Who Fell From the Sea by Teresa Conicella. The Girl Who Fell From the Sea was the show that Teresa and i developed on a Hot House writers residency in Albury. I performed the one woman show at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2009, and am re-staging it for this amazing festival. Make sure not to miss all the goodies available at this festival!
